The Walk to End ALS, the largest volunteer-led fundraiser for ALS Societies across Canada, will be held on June 22 in Riverside Park.
An 8 a.m. pancake breakfast, sponsored by Dominion Macklem Mortgages), will be followed by registration at 9 a.m. and the walk at 10 a.m.
The Kamloops walk is one of 15 taking place across B.C. to help the 3,000 Canadians living with the disease, 400 of whom are living in British Columbia.

Proceeds from the Walk to End ALS go to the ALS Society of BC to provide patient services programs for people living with ALS in B.C. and to the ALS Canada Research Program.
