The Kamloops Spring Witch Walk will take place on Saturday, April 20.
The child-friendly walk is a non-denominational gathering of all kinds of people to celebrate community, nature and creativity — and all are welcome to attend.
It is open to wise women, dryads, naiads, forest nymphs, creative spirits, and of course witches. Wizards, mages, alchemists and warlocks welcome too.
Dressing up is encouraged.
The walk will begin at 1 p.m. in the parking lot near the Rock’n Firkin pub, 726 Sydney Ave. in North Kamloops. It will also end near the Rock’n Firkin, where participants will be entertained by the Mozaik Fusion dance troupe and local singer Marie Jackson.
Following the walk, the witches and warlocks will retire to the Rock’n Firkin for food and drink.
The Kamloops Spring Witch Walk is spearheaded by Bonnie McLean, a local artist who has organized the Kamloops Zombie Walk for the past 13 years.
