The Kamloops chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association will be at the Rotary Bandshell in Riverside Park on Sunday, June 26, to wrap up this year’s Ride Don’t Hide fundraiser.
The fun fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with Dave Coalmine providing the music and activities for people of all ages.
The stigma around mental illness prevents people from seeking the help they need.
Ride Don’t Hide aims to start conversations to reduce the stigma, while raising money to expand local programs and help more people get the support they need to be mentally healthy.
