Royal Inland Hospital has launched its new electronic medical-record (EMR) system in its emergency department.

Beattie School of the Arts recently held its sixth 30 Hour Famine. The project is part of the school's Connections Crew and Leadership grades 11/12 class, in which students are tasked with raising money while fasting for 30 hours.
