The annual Art Exposed exhibit is featured at The Old Courthouse, at Seymour Street and First Avenue downtown, through this Saturday.
Visitors can enjoy viewing 200 pieces of original art.
“Art Exposed has the potential to grow into an event that showcases more than just static art that hangs on walls or sits on a pedestal,” said event manager Lorel Sternig.
“My hope is that we bring other elements to the event, where people who are creatively working in other fields become part of this exciting showcase. At present, we have the following categories: Emerging and Established
Artist in 2D and 3D as well as a youth award.
“We could potentially grow this event into a festival that spotlights other categories to show off performance art, tattoo art, costume/fashion art, hair art, culinary arts and more.”
