Chamber musicians set to present music from France, Ukraine and Estonia

CMK Chamber Musicians of Kamloops

The Chamber Musicians of Kamloops will perform on Sept. 10 at the Kamloops United Church and again in October.

Featured at the event will be the Sycamore String Quartet, comprised of local musicians Cvetozar Vutev on violin, Sandra Wilmot on violin, Ashley Kroecher on viola and Martin Kratky on cello.

The concert, entitled Modulate, Chevalier! will present music from France Ukraine and Estonia, including Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, and CeĢsar Franck's piano quintet.

The quartet will be joined by special guest, pianist Dimiter Terziev.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at Kamloops United Church, 423 St. Paul St. Tickets range from $10 to $40

Another show in October will bring the works of German romantics Beethoven, Schubert and Mendelssohn to the same venue.

German Romantics will be presented on Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
