Kamloops Cowboy Festival cancelled

The Kamloops Cowboy Festival has been cancelled due to ongoing concern over the coronavirus pandemic and gathering limitations of 250 people imposed by the provincial government.

It was set to take place from March 19 to March 22 at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre.

An automatic email response from the B.C. Cowboy Heritage Society reads, "Unfortunately due to the circumstances we have no option but to cancel the Kamloops Cowboy Festival."

Tickets already purchased will be automatically refunded on the credit card they were purchased with.

Rooms booked under the Cowboy Festival block at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre will be cancelled automatically.

Other cancellations must be done manually.
