Kieper works as a reporter in the city for the news website KamloopsBCNow.

His biography from the show’s producers says he “may seem like a laidback, carefree guy, but don't peg him for a floater.”

“This extremely athletic scholar plans to downplay his intelligence by outsmarting the houseguests,” the description reads.

Kieper is one of four B.C. contestants on the show. Others hail from Prince George, Chetwynd and Nanaimo.

At 22, Kieper is this season’s youngest contestant.
