The 25 students provided backup vocals to the band’s hit song I Want to Know What Love Is.

"They were amazing to watch," said Shannon Ablit, a stenographer with the Kamloops-Thompson school district who took video of the performance on her phone.

"They did a really good job.”

Students from the school were excited to have the opportunity to be part of the performance.

“It’s not every day you get a chance to put yourself out there like this,” Grade 11 student Rebekah Seafoot said. “It’s amazing.”
