Two screenings are also planned for Sunday, Nov. 29, at the Paramount Theatre. The online video performance will be available until Dec. 20.

The performance will feature calming works by Canadian composers Larysa Kuzmenko and Julie Thériault and Italian Baroque composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.

Joining the symphony to perform some of those works will be soprano Sinéad White and countertenor Shane Hanson. White performs across North America in ensembles such as Tafelmusic Orchestra and Chamber Choir, Theatre of Early Music and Opera Atelier. Hanson often performs in the Vancouver area and has performed with the Vancouver Bach Choir, Okanagan Symphony, UBC Opera, Vancouver Symphony, Early Music Vancouver and Chilliwack Symphony.

Tickets for the video performance are $15 for individuals or $25 for a household pass. A special price of $5 is also available for those who have been financially impacted by the pandemic. Tickets for showings at the Paramount are $20. Both can be purchased at the Kamloops Live Box Office, online at kamloopslive.ca or by phone at 250-374-5483.

The symphony also provides a preview video for the event, embedded below:
