KISSM hopes summer music school can proceed

The Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music is still hoping its annual program can safely proceed in July.

"We can't see into the future and guarantee that KISSM 2020 will go ahead as planned in July, but we are getting prepared," reads a newsletter sent Friday.

KISSM said the safety of students, faculty and families is always the organization's top priority.

In light of the pandemic, KISSM has extended the early bird discount until April 30 and payment plans have been made available. Inquire to for more information.

The organization has also implemented a COVID-19 refund policy in case it is forced to cancel the event, giving families the option to either receive a full refund, credit for the 2021 program or to donate the funds to KISSM and get a tax receipt in return.
