The Paramount Theatre will host a meet-and-greet with film director Jason Karman on Friday night (Aug. 25).
Karman is the Vancouver-based director behind Golden Delicious, which will air at the Paramount on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
The coming-of-age film follows Jake, an Asian-Canadian teen seeking the attention of his new basketball-obsessed neighbour.
Karman has written, produced or directed more than a dozen short films that have screened across the world. In 2019, he won the Best Editor Award at the 2019 Vancouver Film Festival with his short film, Lionhood.
The event is free to attend for those who have purchased tickets to the film.
