New exhibit at Kamloops Art Gallery features answers to the question: How have you been?

An artist whose work will soon be appearing in the Kamloops Art Gallery's The Cube gallery wants to know: How have you been?

Amy Modahl invited contributors to answer that question by letter or email back in March.

Her new exhibit will feature those responses, transformed into a long letter-form artwork overlaid and abstracted across a continuous scroll of paper.

Viewers of the exhibit will be able to walk underneath and beside the scroll and look over the words Modahl collected.

Modahl is based in Salmon Arm and has a master of fine arts degree from UBC Okanagan. She is a frequent exhibitor in Kelowna, Calgary and Vernon.

The exhibit runs from Saturday, June 26, to Sept. 25 at the Kamloops Art Gallery, 101-465 Victoria St.
