Production vehicles for Jurassic World 3 spotted outside Kamloops hotel

The third installment of the Jurassic World movies is set to begin filming in the region on Feb. 24

A string of film production vehicles has lined up outside the Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops.

They are believed to be part of the production of Jurassic World 3, which has multiple filming locations in B.C., including one in the Merritt area, where filming will begin on Feb. 24 and end on March 4.

A casting call for extras from the Merritt area briefly appeared on a casting website earlier this month.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Isabella Sermon and Laura Dern, with Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum reprising their roles from Jurassic Park. It is set to be released on June 11, 2021.
