Public health orders put a stop to screenings at Paramount Theatre, Cineplex

The Kamloops Film Society has shut down all of its operations at the Paramount Theatre until Dec. 7 due to modifications made to public health orders barring movie screenings.

The order prohibits both public and private screenings.

Anyone who purchased tickets for a show that has been cancelled can email info@thekfs.ca for a refund, if desired.

Cineplex Cinemas at Aberdeen Mall is also closed due to the orders and is currently processing refunds.

Meanwhile, the Kamloops Film Society has been named the beneficiary of December's Colombo Cares campaign.

Sales from the Colombo Lodge's take-home Italian meal program on Dec. 16 will go toward the KFS.
