The Kamloops Symphony has ended Barb's Used Book and Music Sale early due to new COVID-19 restrictions introduced last week.
The Symphony says clarity on the new public health orders introduced last week, which prohibit most events, is what spurred the decision.
"Even though we were only able to remain open for a portion of our originally scheduled time, we are so grateful for the results of the sale, and you can be assured that funds raised will help keep the Kamloops Symphony active in the new year," reads a media release from the Symphony.
The sale began on Nov. 14 and was set to wrap up on Nov. 28.
The sale was spearheaded by KSO board member Barb Corbishley, and named in her memory after she died. The semi-annual sale has been running consistently since 1997.
