Students of the Kamloops Symphony Music School will be showcased at an upcoming recital being held for a good cause.

The fundraising concert will feature advanced students of the school, with proceeds going toward the Peter Collins Memorial Fund.

Collins was a singer from a very young age and became a music singer in 2008. Before he died, he built a legacy of helping those who struggled financially with accessing music lessons. Now, money raised in his name goes toward that very purpose.

The event is the first after two years of virtual performances and will take place at the Kamloops United Church on Friday, June 10.

Tickets to the Peter Collins Memorial Fund Benefit Concert are $16 for adults, $10 for youths age 19 and younger. They can be found online at eventbrite.ca.
