Audience votes reveal top films at this year's Kamloops Film Festival

'Elvis,' short documentary about lost Kamloops soldier and Beauty and the Beast sing-a-long took the top three spots

The results are in from audience voting at the 27th annual Kamloops Film Festival.

Top spot went to to Baz Luhrmann's Elvis, starring Tom Hanks, Austin Butler and Olivia DeJonge, with an audience rating of 9.37 out of 10.

Short documentary Finding Fred Lee, about Jack Gin's quest to find the remains of Kamloops soldier Private Frederick Lee, received ratings nearly as high.
