Western Canada Theatre's Artist Talk Live series will soon continue, with two more talks scheduled in June.
At 4:30 p.m. on June 18, WCT artistic director James MacDonald will speak to Lori Marchand, who was the Kamloops theatre organization's executive director from 1999 to 2018.
Marchand has since taken on an even bigger role as the managing director of the National Arts Centre Indigenous Theatre in Ottawa — the first Indigenous theatre department in the world.
Another artist talk will take place on June 25, when MacDonald will talk to WCT regular Kirk Smith. The Kamloops-raised actor has appeared in a number of WCT productions, including as The Cat in the Hat in Seussical and Buddy the Elf in Elf The Musical.
That talk will take place at 7:30 p.m.
