A veteran comedian is set to hit the stage at The Effie next Friday.
New York native Mike Dambra has 32 years in the comedy business and on Friday, Sept. 9, he'll bring his comedy stylings to Kamloops with a show at The Effie, 422 Tranquille Rd.
Showtime is 8 p.m. with doors opening an hour earlier and the show wrapping up by 11 p.m.
Dambra, who is known as the smart-ass king of comedy, has performed across Canada and the United States and is based in Edmonton.
His interactive style has earned him rave reviews at venues and festivals and he's known for the variety of his acts.
In the past, Dambra has shared the stage with acts like Mick Foley, Michael Bolton, Adam Sandler, Jim Brewer, Rosie O'Donnell and Paul Reiser.
Tickets to the show are $17 in advance, available online at eventbrite.ca, or $20 at the door.
