In light of the new provincial mandate of having gatherings of no more than 50 people, Western Canada Theatre has cancelled or postponed this season’s remaining performances.
Effective immediately, all performances of Cafe Daughter at Pavilion Theatre are cancelled. In addition, all performances of Chelsea Hotel: The Songs of Leonard Cohen and Neworld Theatre’s The Boy in the Moon have been postponed indefinitely.
Western Canada Theatre’s administrative offices and box office are now closed to in-person visitors. Those with tickets can donate the value of the tickets back to the theatre for a charitable tax-receipt, convert the tickets to an account credit, to be applied to a future performance at Western Canada Theatre or have the value of the tickets refunded.
Due to high call volumes, Western Canada Theatre is asking patrons to refrain from contacting the box office and await contact from theatre staff.
Meanwhile, Kamloops Live! Box Office staff will be in contact with those who have purchased tickets to other shows that were scheduled to be performed.
