The ZZ Top and Cheap Trick concert scheduled for May has been postponed nearly a year.
The new concert, featuring the two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame bands, will now be performed on April 25, 2021, at Sandman Centre.
Tickets to the postponed event will be honoured for the new show date, but refunds are also available.
Most dates of the Celebration with ZZ Top Canadian tour have been rescheduled, while some, including Victoria, have yet to be announced. Other B.C. dates include Abbotsford on April 23 and Penticton on April 24.
ZZ Top maintains the most consistently stable lineup in the history of rock music: Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard.
The band was formed in Houston, Tex., in 1969 and has created 15 studio albums, 30-million record sales and countless hits, including, La Grange, Legs, Sharp Dressed Man and Tush.
Cheap Trick has been touring since the band was formed in 1973. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and has hits including I Want You to Want Me, Dream Police, Surrender and Ain’t That a Shame.
