The B.C. Lottery Corporation will spend $205,355 to purchase a 4.5-metre wide lane from the City of Kamloops.

Real estate manager David Freeman said the city-owned road, which is used only by the lottery corporation, connects BCLC's existing headquarters with new land it has acquired as it looks to build a new home adjacent to city hall.

Freeman said as part of the deal, the city has acquired a small strip of land on the Victoria Street side of the property for future road widening.
