The suspect in the Feb. 20, 2023, assault is white and in his 20s and, at the time of the assault, had a dark, thick moustache. He was wearing a white cammo hoodie, a black White Sox ball cap and a white cross-body fanny-pack with green zipper flies.

Kamloops Mounties are seeking the public’s help in identifying one of two men suspected of beating a man in his 60s.

According to Cpl. Crystal Evelyn, on Friday, Feb. 10, at about 8:20 p.m., officers were called to a bus that was stopped at Tranquille Road and Poplar Street in North Kamloops, where two men in their 20s had assaulted a man in his 60s with blunt force objects.

“One of the men was quickly identified, but the second one still remains unknown at this time,” Evelyn said. “Police are releasing an image of the unidentified man in hopes that someone will recognize him and contact the detachment or that he’ll do the right thing and come forth to help further the investigation.”
