COVID-19 update: 324 new cases, one further death over past 24 hours

B.C. health officials are reporting another 324 cases of COVID-19 and one further death, identified over the past 24 hours.

Of the new cases, 77 are in the Interior Health region.

Elsewhere, there were 102 new cases in Fraser Health, 60 in Northern Health, 38 in Vancouver Coastal Health and 36 in Island Health.

The province's active case count has fallen to 3,047, with 345 in hospital and 115 in ICUs.

Over the past week, 58.4 per cent of all new cases were among those who were not fully vaccinated, while over the past two weeks, 69 per cent of all hospitalizations were among those not fully vaccinated.

The province's vaccination rate as of Tuesday was 90.9 per cent for at least one dose and 87.4 per cent for at least two doses.
