B.C. is reporting 555 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 further deaths due to the disease over the past 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 114 are in the Interior Health region, and one IH resident was among the deaths recorded on Wednesday.
Elsewhere, there were 197 cases in Fraser Health, 106 in Northern Health, 88 in Island Health and 50 in Vancouver Coastal Health.
Most of the deaths (five) occurred in the Fraser Health region, followed by three in Island Health and two in Vancouver Coastal.
B.C. now has 4,321 active cases, with 404 in hospital and 117 of those patients requiring critical care in ICUs.
Those not fully vaccinated account for 63.1 per cent of all cases over the past week and 70.8 per cent of all hospitalizations over the past two weeks.
The province's vaccination rate as of Wednesday was 90.5 per cent for at least one dose and 86.4 per cent for at least two doses.
