B.C. is reporting 946 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 further deaths over the three-day weekend reporting period.

Elsewhere, there were 285 new cases and five further deaths in Fraser Health, 197 new cases in Island Health, 138 new cases in Vancouver Coastal Health and 115 new cases and four deaths in the Northern Health region.

B.C. now has 2,876 active cases, with 241 in hospital and 89 of those patients requiring critical care in ICUs.

Over the past week, 58.3 per cent of all cases have been among those not fully vaccinated, while over the past two weeks, 66.1 per cent of all hospitalizations have been among the same group.

A total of 85.5 per cent of all eligible British Columbians (age five and older) have received at least one dose, while 82 per cent have received at least two doses.
