Flights to and from Kamloops nixed again due to wildfire smoke

Those expecting guests and those with tickets to fly out of Kamloops should contact their carriers.
Kamloops Airport cancelled flights

Wildfire smoke continues to mess with the schedule at Kamloops Airport, with all morning departures and arrivals on B.C. Day (Monday, Aug. 2) cancelled.

The four departures that were nixed involved WestJet flights to Edmonton and Calgary and Air Canada flights to Vancouver and Calgary.

Flights that were to arrive, but were scrubbed, include WestJet and Air Canada routes from Calgary.

There are three more scheduled departures from Kamloops Airport on Monday — from 2:50 p.m. to 5:40 p.m., all to Vancouver, on Air Canada, Pacific Coastal and Central Mountain Air.

There are five more scheduled arrivals to Kamloops Airport on Monday — from 2:06 p.m. to 11:05 p.m., from Vancouver, Prince George and Calgary, on Air Canada, WestJet, Pacific Coastal and Central Mountain Air.
