Kamloops man charged with robbery

A man who was allegedly stealing items at a store before pulling a weapon on a staff member when confronted has been charged with robbery.

Following the incident, Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said, police were called to a business in the 600-block of Seymour Street downtown on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 5:20 a.m.

A suspect description led to the arrest of a suspect a few blocks away, at Battle Street and Third Avenue, shortly thereafter.

Noel Albert Larkin, 26, of Kamloops, is charged with robbery. He remains in custody until his next court date, which is set for Nov. 28.
