Kamloops Mounties hope public can help lead them to vandals

Someone damaged six vehicles in the downtown Kamloops area on the morning of Tuesday, March 14.

According to the Kamloops RCMP, between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. that day, officers responded to multiple reports of vehicle windows smashed in the 600-block of Columbia Street and in the 600- to 800-blocks of Dominion Street.

In one instance, video surveillance showed a person on a bike approach a vehicle and smash its window at approximately 2 a.m.

“We are asking residents in the area to please review their surveillance footage to determine if they captured any vehicles being damaged or any other suspicious incidents that could be related to these investigations,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in a release.

No items were reported stolen from the vehicles.
