A stolen vehicle call on Nov. 16 led Kamloops Mounties to a home in Westsyde, where multiple firearms were seized, including one that was loaded.

Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said police responded to the stolen vehicle report, which led them to a home in the 3000-block of Westsyde Road, where four people were arrested.

Evelyn said a search warrant executed on the home led to the seizure of six firearms, including the one that was loaded, and another weapon reported as stolen from Alberta. Evelyn said officers also found other stolen property and a small amount of illegal drugs.

A Kamloops man was released with conditions and a court date, with police executed to recommend charges to Crown counsel. The other three suspects were released without process, pending further investigation.
