Two robberies in Sahali in the early-morning hours of Wednesday (March 15) have Kamloops Mounties looking for a man behind the holdups.
The first robbery was reported at about 2:30 a.m., when a man entered a gas station in the 900-block of Columbia Street and demanded cash. He fled northbound on foot.
Three hours later, at about 5:30 a.m., a store in the 1500-block of Summit Drive, just south of the first robbery, was also struck by a man matching the same description, who made off with cash. The suspect is believed to be associated with a small black car that left northbound on Summit Drive.
The suspect is white, between 30 and 40 years of age, stands approximately six feet tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black sweater with New Balance written on it, blue pants, black runners and a black mask.
