Kamloops RCMP probing sudden death in Sahali parking lot

Kamloops Mounties and a coroner are at a parking lot in Columbia Square, at Notre Dame Drive and Columbia Street in Sahali, to investigate a sudden death.

The parking lot near the McDonald’s restaurant remains cordoned off as of 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Const. Crystal Evelyn said police were called at 5:45 a.m. on Thursday to help firefighters and paramedics who were dealing with the sudden death of a man in his 30s.

No other information is yet available and an update from police is expected later.
