Moving van crashes into Dollarama in Aberdeen

No one was injured
The Dollarama store in the City View Shopping Centre was closed on Wednesday after a vehicle crashed through the large storefront window.

Damage from a collision into a Dollarama store in Aberdeen Tuesday night will likely total much more than the store’s promised price point.

Just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday night, Kamloops RCMP received a report of a large moving van that rolled through a parking spot and crashed through the window and wall of the dollar store, which is located in a shopping centre off of Highway 5A.

Nobody was injured as a result of the crash. According to police, the van was unoccupied and the van was not secured while parked, meaning the parking brake may have failed or was not put into place.
