Police seek thief who pilfered purse from business

Despite being spotted on video surveillance, police have yet to make an arrest and have released a photo of the suspect to help further the investigation

Kamloops Mounties are searching for a suspect who made off with a purse from a business on the Tk’emlúps reserve.

Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP received the reported theft on Sept. 28 from a business in the 400-block of Dene Drive. A man entered a business, went into its lunchroom and walked out with the purse, according to a police press release.

Despite being spotted on video surveillance, police have yet to make an arrest and have released a photo of the suspect to help further the investigation.

The man is described as heavyset, dressed in a grey hoodie, black ball cap and blue jeans. A dark face mask was pulled down over his chin. The stolen purse was small and black.
