Shortly after, at 2:50 a.m., the suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Ram, was found on fire nearby in the 2000-block of Tremerton Drive. That vehicle had been reported stolen from a Balfour Court residence 20 minutes prior.

Two suspects connected to the shooting were described as men, with one dressed in a black top, dark pants and white shoes with orange on the back. The other was described as wearing a black top, blue jeans and black shoes with orange on the bottom.

Police are calling for any potential witnesses to review dash cam or security camera footage, asking that anyone with information on the incident contact the Kamloops RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000 and cite file number 2023-33666.
