A stun gun, a fighting axe, knives and small containers of drugs were seized from a cargo van on Columbia Street downtown on Tuesday night (May 10).
Kamloops RCMP Const, Crystal Evelyn said an officer parked near Columbia Street and Fourth Avenue saw the van being driven by a woman suspected of being a prohibited driver.
Evelyn said the officer stopped the vehicle, arrested the woman for driving while suspended and impounded the van for seven days, noting the weapons and drugs inside were seized for destruction.
