A weekly average of 52.6 thefts from vehicles in Kamloops

Sixty-two vehicles were targeted by thieves in Kamloops last week, according to numbers released Monday by police.

Mounties began releasing the information weekly in July. Since then, the highest number of incidents per week was 73, recorded between Sept. 16 and Sept. 22.

The average number of thefts in a week is 52.6.
