Armed robbery in Sahali has Kamloops Mounties seeking suspect

Police were called to the robbery in the 100-block of West Columbia Street on April 30.

Kamloops Mounties are on the hunt for an armed robber after a man with a knife robbed a Sahali business on Friday afternoon (April 30).

Const. Crystal Evelyn said officers responded to the robbery in the 1100-block of West Columbia Street just after 3 p.m. The Summit Shopping Centre is at 1180 West Columbia St.

Staff at the business told police the robber escaped through the store’s rear door.

He is white, skinny, about 30 years of age and has green or blue eyes. He was wearing a black neck gaiter pulled up over his face, blue jeans and a long-sleeved black hoodie.

Anybody with information is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2021-13847.
