Four people have been arrested following a large number of Kamloops RCMP vehicles swarming a residence in the 500-block of Linden Avenue on the North Shore Wednesday afternoon.

The man was transported to Royal Inland Hospital with what police describe as serious injuries.

Reports indicate the man was stabbed in the abdomen.

Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle leave the scene, and police located it at a home on Linden Avenue, RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie told KTW.

Three adult males and a woman were arrested, she said.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Linden Avenue on the North Shore has been the focus of police activity in the past year.

Police haven't commented on whether or not the incident is gang related.

On Nov. 4, 2018, a vehicle parked in the alley of the 500-block of Linden was firebombed, while on June 22, 2018, the RCMP emergency response team raided a home on the street, arresting two people and seizing drugs and weapons.
