B.C. health officials are reporting 465 new cases of COVID-19 and six further deaths due to the disease over the past 24 hours.
Of those cases, 46 are in the Interior Health region, with some related to ongoing outbreaks in Kamloops.
Elsewhere in the province there have been 100 new cases in the Vancouver Coastal Health region, 243 in Fraser Health, 25 in Island Health, 53 in Northern Health and two cases in those who reside outside Canada.
Of B.C.'s 71,856 total cases, 66,167 have recovered while 1,269 have died.
The province currently has 4,305 active cases with 230 in hospital and 66 of those patients in critical care.
Another 6,820 people are under active public health monitoring due to exposure to confirmed cases.
On the vaccine front, the province has now administered 157,797 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.
Over the past 24 hours, the province administered 2,212 doses of the vaccine.
