B.C. reports 165 new cases of COVID-19, no further deaths

B.C.'s daily case count continues to fall, with 165 new cases and no further deaths reported on Tuesday.

Of the new cases, 42 are in the Interior Health region. Elsewhere, there were 78 cases in Fraser Health, 30 in Vancouver Coastal Health, 10 in Island Health and five in Northern Health.

To date, B.C. has seen 145,695 cases, with 141,879 recovered, 1,722 dead and 2,051 active cases.

As of Tuesday, there are 203 people in hospital with 57 of those patients in critical care.

On the vaccine front, 74 per cent of all adults 18 and older and 72 per cent of everyone age 12 and older have now received their first dose. A total of 3,685,340 doses have been administered, including 345,508 second doses.
