B.C. is reporting 317 new cases of COVID-19 and two further deaths due to the disease.
Of the new cases, 60 are in the Interior Health region, about on par with recent daily case reports.
B.C. has 3,441 active cases with 292 people in hospital, with 79 of those patients requiring critical care in ICUs.
Elsewhere, there were 73 new cases in Vancouver Coastal Health, 163 in Fraser Health, five in Island Health and 16 in Northern Health.
With two additional deaths on Friday, a total of 1,692 people have died in B.C. to date.
On the vaccine front, 3,106,269 total doses have been administered. Of those, 160,885 are second doses. That means 67.2 per cent of all British Columbians have now received at least one dose. Of all of those eligible to receive the vaccine, age 12 and older, 62.7 per cent have received at least one dose.
B.C. has seen a total of 143,581 cases of COVID-19, with 138,360 of those recovered.
