B.C. has identified 832 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 42 were in residents of the Interior Health region.
Elsewhere, there have been 310 new cases in Vancouver Coastal Health, 388 in Fraser Health, 53 in Vancouver Island Health and 39 in Northern Health.
Five further deaths were also reported on Thursday, bringing the province's total to 1,463.
There are now 296 people in hospital and 79 of those are in critical care.
On the vaccine front, there have been 787,649 doses administered, including 87,394 second doses.
Some data was not available during Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry's press conference on Thursday, but will be included in a later statement.
Further COVID-19 updates will come from the province on Saturday and Tuesday.
Health Minister Adrian Dix also said the province's online booking platform will go live on April 6.
