A Kamloops man accused of robbing an acquaintance at gunpoint inside her apartment has been granted bail.
Jeremy Orr-Hall was released from custody on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old is facing charges in relation to an alleged robbery on March 23. On that date, Orr-Hall is accused of entering the apartment of a woman he knew through friends and showing her a handgun and ammunition in what she described as a "man purse."
Court heard Orr-Hall took a nap at the woman's apartment. When he woke up, court heard, he began to accuse her of stealing his drugs.
Orr-Hall is accused of pointing a handgun at the woman and threatening her while stealing $230 from her purse.
Kamloops provincial court Judge Len Marchand released Orr-Hall to attend a drug-treatment centre in Logan Lake.
Orr-Hall, who is also facing two outstanding charges of driving while prohibited, is due back in court on June 5.
