The event will be held in the theatre at the Coast Kamloops Hotel and Conference Centre, at 1250 Rogers Way in Aberdeen. It will begin at 2 p.m.

Jim Reynolds, Radio NL’s former program director, will emcee the event, which will include speakers and special guests.

"It's going to be a chance to hear a lot of stories and share stories of Angelo and his life and contribution he's made to the media world," said Radio NL general manager Peter Angle.

All are welcome to attend the ceremony, he said.

The radio station is organizing the celebration of life with the family, who requested there be no funeral service.

Iacobucci was well-connected in Kamloops and throughout the province, due to decades spent talking to people in the news business.

He is survived by wife Silvana.
