A recent flight into Kamloops had a confirmed case of COVID-19 on board, the BC Centre for Disease Control has confirmed.
The potential exposure was on WestJet flight 3111 from Calgary that touched down in Kamloops on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The BCCDC is reporting people in rows one through six are affected and should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19.
Since March, passengers seated near a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 — recognized after arrival — are not directly notified of their potential exposure. Instead, that information is posted online at bccdc.ca.
Those with COVID-19 symptoms are asked to self-isolate and to call 811 if they have questions.
