Crash in Kamloops believed to be cardiac-related

Eyewitness Nathan Ritchie told KTW it appears a burgandy sedan had rear-ended a silver van in the parking lot of the gas station near Comazzetto Road in Valleyview

Emergency crews have amassed at the Shell gas station in Valleyview for a motor vehicle incident.

Eyewitness Nathan Ritchie told KTW it appears a burgundy sedan had rear-ended a silver van in the parking lot of the gas station near Comazzetto Road.

Two fire trucks, three ambulances and multiple RCMP officers were on scene at about 6:30 p.m., Ritchie said. 

Power lines have been knocked down and BC Hydro is on scene, he said.

The extent of injuries are unknown at this time. The cause of the crash is not clear at this time, but is believed to be cardiac-related.
