Police said the SUV had been travelling eastbound toward Kamloops when the driver failed to navigate a corner. The vehicle went off the road and into a ditch, rolling several times.

Five teenagers were in the vehicle, four of whom were able to get out of the SUV on their own.

One teen had to be extracted by Kamloops firefighters.

All five occupants were sent to hospital and their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to police.
