Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Jodi Shelkie said in a press release that the vehicle veered off the road and rolled several times.

Kamloops Tk’emlups rural RCMP attended and Munden was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains unclear.

“It’s still under investigation, what caused it,” Shelkie said.

The RCMP and BC Coroners Service are both investigating.

Munden played with the Kamloops Broncos in 2017 and was a member of the Munden family of Savona, which owns and operates the Munden Ventures Ltd. transportation company.
